The owner of this home in Rozelle, NSW approached us to create two contemporary houses on this site for themselves and their parents. Challenges included the small site and optimising the orientation to capture maximum sunlight. Added to that were council planning officers hellbent on a faux historic design look that can perhaps best be described as ‘folkloric fisherman’s cottage’.
Good design sense eventually prevailed.
